The Bird & Deer Park is situated in a stunning valley and dotted with follies which make beautiful backs to the hand tame fallow deer or the oriental waterfowl that live on the lakes. The park boasts a huge collection of peafowl that display all summer, not forgetting the only Reindeer in Gloucestershire with their calf named Cupid, Mediterranean miniature donkeys and pygmy goats are also hand tame. The park hosts events all year from The Mad Hatters Tea Party in April, Fairy World in May, Halloween in October and Winter Wonderland that was nominated in the top 10 rural attractions to visit for Christmas by the Sunday Telegraph. If you just want a fab day out then look no further as the Bird Park makes a wonderful day out for families.
