Stay at the Wild Goose Lodge which has been recently refurbished and is situated beside the stunning Gloucester Sharpness Canal. Take a wander along the canal to Purton Hulks, a mile and half long stretch of ghostly boat wrecks. Visit the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, Berkeley Castle and the Edward Jenner Museum or Cycle on the National Route 41 to Berkeley.
