It is important that we all use personal judgement to manage our own risk. All of us can play our part by exercising common sense and considering the risks.
You can keep yourself and others safe by:
Keeping a safe distance from people who are outside of your household
Choosing outdoor activities, where virus particles are less likely to spread in fresh air
Wear a mask in shops and venues, and on public transport or other crowded areas
Wash you hands regularly with soap and water or with hand sanitiser
Cough or sneeze into a tissue and dispose of it as soon as possible
Do not go out if you have any symptoms of coronavirus. Stay at home and get tested.
