Meet the Easter dragons at Berkeley Castle

From Good Friday 14th April – Easter Monday 17th April. The incredible dragon puppeteers will be at the castle all over Easter weekend – enjoy dragon tales, join a dragon procession and get up close and personal with the baby dragons. Call into the Arts & Crafts room and make something special to take home. Take part in the Jester Dragon Hunt.

Dr Jenner’s Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday 9th – Wednesday 19th April (excluding Thursday 13th April) from 12 to 5pm (last entry 4pm). Join the Easter Egg Hunt at Dr Jenner’s House, Museum and Garden. Find all the clues and you could win a prize! There will be lots of Easter crafts throughout the Easter weekend (Good Friday 14th – Bank Holiday Monday 17th April).

Stroud Farmers’ Market

Saturday 15th April. Buy yourself some Easter treats this weekend. Discover local produce such as breads, cheeses, vegetables and meats at the multi award-winning Stroud Farmers’ Market. This is one of the biggest, busiest and most popular farmers’ markets in the UK.

Enjoy Wild Garlic at Newark Park

Every day in April in May (except Tuesdays), explore the gardens and smell the wild garlic at this National Trust Property. Pick your own to take home. From Friday 14th - Monday 17th April, join the Easter Egg hunt, games on the lawn and jigsaws and dressing up in Newark House.

Easter at Cattle Country

Saturday 8th to Sunday 23rd April. Book tickets online to save on admissions and to beat the queues. There will be lots going on every day. Bottle feed lambs, feed the calves, take the Easter trail and enjoy tractor and trailer rides. Ride the zip wire, jump on the trampolines and pillows and splash about in the water play area.

Hunt for Dusty Duck at Slimbridge WWT

Saturday 8th to Sunday 23rd April. A group of GIANT ducks will be landing at Slimbridge this Easter holidays with our very own Dusty Duck - can your family find them all? Pick up an activity sheet on arrival then set off on a fun hunt which will take you all round the grounds. Spot them all and receive a yummy treat on your return. There will also be Easter arts and crafts so you can make something to take home. While you are on the hunt, keep an eye out for ducklings, go to hear an otter talk and have some fun in one of our play parks.
