Stroud Nature, Saturday 27th May to 31st August

Party in the Parc, Wotton under Edge, Saturday 17th June

Party in the Parc is a community festival being run by the Wotton Community Sports Foundation. It features 17 bands on two stages; loads of activities for children; a wide range of sports activities, and a party village of stalls and food outlets. There will also be a beer tent from the award winning Wickwar Wessex Brewery. For full details see the Facebook page @WottonPartyInTheParc.

Stroud Children's Festival, Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th July

A New Children’s Festival designed for and with young people and the young at heart. Celebrating both nature and literature we’ve got a magical tree, storytelling and storywriting, puppets, art workshops, butterfly hunts, an art exhibition, a children’s choir - and even an opera workshop!

Stroud Festival of Nature, Stratford Park, Stroud, Saturday 9th July

A big free family event with lots of stalls representing wildlife charities and plenty of fun activities. Find out more in the Programme of events

Dursley Carnival, Saturday 15th July

Commences in the town centre in the morning followed by a procession to the Recreational Ground, where there will be a talent show, tug of war, circus school, classic cars and much more. Evening entertainment with live music and tribute acts of Bruno Mars and Olly Murs. Find out more about Dursley Carnival

 

Stroud Country Show 15th July

Enjoy all the fun of a local summer country show. Skills and demonstrations on display will include farming, pets, fruit and vegetables. Discover more about the Stroud Country Show

 

Festival of British Eventing, Gatcombe Park 4th to 6th August

The Festival of British Eventing takes place at Gatcombe Park, the spectacular home of the Princess Royal and her family. It incorporates the British Open, Intermediate and Novice Championships, as well as the Amateur Championship, The Corinthian Cup.  As well as a weekend of top class eventing there will be a shopping village, and arena attractions with entertainment for all the family. Stroud Fringe Festival 25th to 27th August

This free music and arts festival takes over Stroud every August Bank Holiday weekend. There are four official stages, parades, street entertainment, creative childrens’ workshops and great food and drink. Independent venues all over town celebrate the festival with their own events as the town truly comes alive. Have a look which bands you'd like to see at the Stroud Fringe Festival

Frocester Beer Festival 25th to 26th August

This famous beer festival returns with over a hundred different beers, more than a dozen ciders and a large range of wines from all over the world. There will be a wide range of food available from a number of local food providers. All profits from the festival goes to local charities as well as assisting in providing facilities for Frocester cricket club. Find out more about the Frocester Beer Festival
